Patronized by Dewan Farooque Trust, Karachi, Pakistan, SBB Dewan University was established under an Act promulgated by Government of Sindh in 2013 and duly recognized by the Higher Education Commission Pakistan as a degree awarding Institute in “W” category in 2014. The University admitted its first batch of students in spring 2015. The University has state–of-the-art lecture halls, library, laboratories, and IT facilities. The University seeks to emerge as world class center of excellence in education and research, keeping pace with the emerging developments in the field of quality
education. Thus, the University has highly qualified and experienced faculty to impart quality education as well as grooming students in their intellectual and human potentials.

The University runs the following academic programs in order to respond to the
requirements of the immediate community, market and economy.

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D)
• Bachelors of Administration (BBA)
• Bachelors of Computer Science (BSCS)

Presently students are enrolled in the following Faculties to pursue their higher

• Faculty of Management Sciences
• Faculty of Information Technology

The SBBDU today provides a conductive environment to its students continuously enriching their academic pursuits with networking, entrepreneurial, cultural and experiential learning.

SBBDU encourages its students and faculty to develop a global perspective, but to apply their knowledge and practice towards finding the solutions of local problems.
